I am much in debt. I called the banks, they won’t give me a loan because I have no collateral. They suggested debt consolidation but said I need a large company that is non-profit. I realize this is not the finance section but I am hoping someone here has done this and had good luck. I am hoping to be out of debt as soon as possible. If I could have one monthly payment verses 9 then I could pay more on the minimum. Thanks in advance.

I just posted about co-signing for my husband who has horrible credit(25,000).. but got to thinking. We pay all of our bills on time NOW and he doesn’t miss payments. The debt he has is old debt(charge offs). I just printed off a report for him on www.freecreditreport.com so I can figure it all out. Anyways, I want to find debt counseling or a debt consolidation agency that can help him clear it up. What site can you recommend?
